MorningStar brings you experienced staff members, trained in the art of anticipating your needs and going the extra mile. In them, you’ll find a friend, a confidant, a companion. 

We also provide complete grounds-keeping, maintenance, and housekeeping, relieving you from any such concern.

Assisted Living
MorningStar offers three levels of assisted living care: minimal aid, wherein friendly reminders and guidance help residents attend to personal grooming and daily living; and individualized nursing care, which offers progressively greater assistance with these same needs. In both cases, around-the-clock staffing ensures your peace of mind.

It’s our staff’s responsibility to remember you prefer coffee with cream, or that you hail from Youngstown, Ohio. It’s their pleasure to help you choose a dress for church or dinner out. It’s their gift to respond to you with thoughtfulness, to instill confidence in all that you are.

“Reflections”—Alzheimer’s/Memory Care
MorningStar also offers specialized memory care for those living with Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions. Whether your loved one is in the beginning phases of this disease or in advanced, potentially self-injurious phases, we can help. Working with family members, our trained staff permeates the resident’s environment with the visual and auditory cues that will stimulate that particular mind. We offer studio, one- and two-bedroom suites in many of our communities, and at Applewood, a separate building designed just for advanced cases of dementia.

A secure courtyard allows residents to stroll without becoming disoriented. There’s also a private garden just for them to tend. With its abundant life and growth, the garden is another tactile experience that offers healthy stimulus and purposeful activity.
